We – the Christian children from Pakistan would actually have no future perspective or hope for a meaningful life because we were all born into life-threatening circumstances together. Each of us children can report a tragedy at home – but thank God there are people who have a heart full of love for us and therefore take good care of us. So far, they have done this voluntarily without any salaries! Due to the minimal funding from the “Shining Stars Care Foundation” from Pakistan, we can of course only shape our everyday life to a very limited extent. That is why we are desperately looking for loving people in Germany who would be willing to take on a temporary sponsorship or to support our Shining Star Care Foundation project with donations. The donations are also passed on to us by the VAPIC Foundation from Germany 100% on an honorary basis and, if desired, an annual donation receipt is also issued.
Even if only a few of us are orphans in the full sense of the word because one parent is still alive, our biography tells us that we would not live on the street without the care of “Shining – Stars – Aid Services” because our relatives are not can or want to take care of us! That is why we are so happy and grateful that we have the chance to get to know you as a sponsor through the ‘Shining Star Care Foundation’ website.
As your personal sponsored child, each of us children would like to start a transparent partnership based on mutuality with you:

Insight into everyday life
It starts at 6:00 in the morning – with the children being independently responsible for making their beds, washing, brushing their teeth, ironing their school uniform, keeping the house clean (sweeping, wiping, making everything fresh because of the dust that appears to us unasked overnight and full in the morning there is )
Before breakfast at 7:15 am there is morning prayer with worship songs, memorized Bible verses recite “one-by-one” in the group, prayer community and a “WORD for the day”. The children are fully involved and proud to loudly express their beliefs! For Robina and me as adults, heart-warming and encouraging.
At 8:00 a.m., walk to the nearby school, 3 minutes on foot. Everything nicely disciplined in a row. In principle, the children are accompanied on their way to and from school by an adult assistant to rule out any kind of unpleasant events (we have wild street dogs, cats, chickens, donkeys, rats and much more on the way in Hamza-Town as well as fast-paced moped drivers) some of them are still children themselves, rickshaws, cars and sometimes trucks. Power cables lying around and hanging around. Sometimes high water – be it caused by rain or because drainage channels are blocked) Therefore our children need security when accompanied by a responsible person.
The children come home at 1:30 p.m. and lunch is ready.
They quickly change their school uniform to casual house clothes, put their school rucksacks in the designated places, wash their hands – and continue with a song of praise, prayer before meals and a subsequent exchange in the group about school hours or other important experiences for them.
From 2:15 p.m. lunch break. All children are allowed to lie down in their beds disciplined for a midday nap. Most of the time we as a couple have to check again whether they are all taking a break and not some nonsense “children are children”.
Later, after getting up around 3:30 p.m., it means “do your homework” until 5:00 p.m. Then there is play time on our flat roof, where you can romp around to your heart’s content. We accompany the whole thing with prayer, so that they don’t possibly hurt each other during “sport” …
Afterwards there is a “work time” in the house, where each child has to do certain tasks. Then comes our common Bible study time before dinner at 7:30 p.m.
At exactly 9:00 p.m., after everything has been nicely taken care of including rinsing, drying, washing clothes, and sometimes even an evening stroll in Hamza-Town – that is the sleeping time
announced: “Close your eyes. Close your heart. Heart open” – this is my slogan in Urdu, which the children always look forward to before going to bed.
At the weekend, the daily routine changes a bit, because the school ends at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. – Then our children would like to make music at home and I will be active as their guitar and harmonica teacher. We hope to be able to purchase additional instruments in the future such as keyboards, tabla, drums. Then one day we will have a small orchestra in honor of GOD: “Hallelujah!”
On Sunday mornings we go to the congregation (approx. 250 members) at 8:45 a.m., a dear brother of faith regularly picks us up at the front door with his minibus and brings us back home. Then in the afternoon there is the opportunity for the children who still have relatives and want to see them from time to time to visit us here in the children’s home.
